The Columbia County Department of Public Works operates a loan program that allows local businesses, non-profit organizations, and government entities to borrow a variety of Department of Public Works-owned equipment, supplies, or materials. to the county.

Borrowing of material by individuals or for personal use is not permitted.

Organizations must receive prior approval before borrowing any item from the Columbia County Department of Public Works. The first steps in completing the Columbia County Public Works Loan Agreement are to review the Loan Agreement Policy and submit a completed Loan Agreement Form.

Then, submit a completed Loan Agreement Application to the Columbia County Department of Public Works by the date the items are needed, allowing ample time for review and approval by Public Works staff. .
